Trenton, NJ _ Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno on Tuesday continued her statewide business tour with a visit to Atlantic Towers in Bayville in Ocean County.

“This is an industry that belongs in New Jersey,” Lt. Governor Guadagno said, citing the state’s 127 miles of coast line and the Jersey Shore’s status as a premier tourist attraction. “The Christie Administration is committed to supporting the boating industry and helping it expand.”

Atlantic Towers, which was founded in 1983, manufactures various marine accessories for the boating industry around the world. Touring the facility, the lieutenant governor saw products that were ready for shipment to such destinations as Tahiti and Australia. Atlantic Towers is evidence that manufacturing in New Jersey is flourishing. All of the company’s manufacturing _ from welding to finishing products _ is done in New Jersey and 100 percent of its materials are acquired from U.S. vendors.

“I’m happy that the lieutenant governor took the time to see our small business,” said Shelley Golden, the company’s director of marine sales. “I feel that she really has a grasp of what we are doing here in Bayville.”
Tuesday’s stop at Atlantic Towers was number 48 on the lieutenant governor’s statewide tour of 100 businesses. Lt. Governor Guadagno has embarked on the business tour to reinforce the Christie’s Administration’s support for business growth and economic development. She urges company officials to contact her office if they have any trouble doing business in New Jersey.
