The install went fine. Did it ourselves. The instructions were fair. We cut additional height off. The wiring exit hole could have been explained better. Maybe an example of how large for the wire bundle size ect. The boat looks great with the arch. The only problem was we sold the boat about a month after installing the arch and never really got to enjoy the benefits. I do believe however it help sell the boat.

Thanks

I purchased your special hardtop for my 20 ft. Grady White and I'm very impressed with the quality of your product. I and acouple of buddys installed it and found it fit perfectly. Installation was a snap. It has made our fishing experience much more enjoyable!

Thank you very much,

Shelly,

Attached please find a photograph of my boat, an Aquasport 215 Explorer, with the radar arch that I purchased at the spring (2003) boat show in Providence, RI. It was not difficult to install and I have received many complements about the way it looks. While it may appear that it is installed a bit high, it is at the minimum height to allow clearance for the canvas top to be folded back and secured.

Thanks for making a great product! -Dennis St Germain

Attached are photos of the top you made me for my 1988 Mainship 36 sedan. I took deliver in Shelton Ct this spring and did the installation myself. I am very pleased with the product and thought you my like the photos for your website.

A friend of mine has a 2001 Silverton 35' convertible. We were wondering if you have ever made a hardtop just to cover the aft cockpit and still allow access to the bridge via the stairs? If you have already done something similar could you send photos and an approxomate price? Thanks!

Paul Allard

Attached are pictures of the completed installation of the Fishing Arch and Out Riggers on my 1999 Aquasport 215 Explorer. The installation went well and I'm very pleased with the quality of the product. One of these days went my top wears out, I will contact you about adding a hard top. Thanks again for providing a excellent product.

Hi Shelley,

Just to let you know, the arch arrived today. Super fast on the shipping, not to mention the quality is superb. Time consuming to install yourself, however well worth it. Very good product and service!

Hi Shelley:

Sounds like you received the photos of the top.I must say I'm really enjoying it.The boat feels bigger but you probably hear that often. If someone is considering a top for a Skipjack 24 you could give them my number as a reference.I'm not a huge e-mailer though so please not this one. As far as show tickets, whichever NoCal boat show you're doing in Jan. 2004 would work....4 if poss

Good Luck, Ron Romack

Shelly,

As requested, here are the pictures of the installed Hardtop conversion (Job #01202TA307) done to integrate with the Radar Arch we had purchased earlier from Atlantic. The Hardtop came out great and only took about 4 hours to install. We are very satisfied, as we were with the Arch.

Thanks Again,
Rob Connolly

I would like to send you a photo of my arch on my boat for you to show. I think it is well made and make the boat look better it also gives me a place to hook my planner board lines for trolling.

Thank You

Hey Mary,
I've attached those pics you wanted of my 1985 Ski Supreme with the new airtower. I really love it and it works great..... You guys did a nice job and it and I wanted to thank you for it. I do have a question? To you guys sell wakeboard racks to fit the tower and if not do you know where I can get one. All the racks I find, clamp on the horizontal bars but this tower only has vertical.

Thanks again!
Ken Brown, Sevierville,TN

Thank-you!! My arch adds a whole new look to the boat. I've had many compliments and have only had it on the boat a few days.

Thanks again,
Art Hallenbeck

I cannot tell you how happy I am with the quality, service, follow-through, attention to detail and warm friendliness I received when I purchased my radar arch. Shelly was indeed a "radar arch goddess." There are very few companies left that still maintain a personable and professional outlook when dealing with customers. I rate all you guys (especially your welder) a 10 +++ You can use my name as a reference anytime!!!

Per your request, here is a photo of our boat with the "rocket launchers" installed. It wasn't taken with the intention of focusing on them, but it's still pretty good. Please let us know if this works OK for you.

Hi Shelly,

Attached are two pictures, one front view and one side view of the top we installed on Ray Stubbs' 1993 34 Silverton Conv. Total time to remove all the old canvas top and curtains, all antennas and radar antenna from the front of the bridge, install new hardtop, spreader lights, antennas (except radar) and clean up the mess is approx 14 hours. Another shop will do the enclosure and fill in the holes from previous installation of the soft top, then we will reinstall the radar antenna on the new hardtop. Ray and Dorothy think the top looks great, as do I. Another job well done by you guys!

Thanks,
Rusty

Dear Shelley,

In Dec.2002 I went to the NYC Boat Show at the Jacob Javis Center and was very impressed with your line of products. So much so I decided to spruce up my 1988- 23' Proline with a addition of a Atlantic Tower Hardtop. I was nervous about the installation, but after carefully reading the instructions and taking my time, it came off without a hitch, however it is a two man job!

I met you at my marina, where the In Water Boat Show at Guy Lombardo Marina was being held and you asked to send you some pictures, well here they are, hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

PS. Looking for an Aft Mount Light for the hardtop, any deals?

Thanks, Anthony Muniz

Hey Guys/Gals,

Here's the pictures of my boat with one awesome looking arch! I was so excited to take a picture, I took it before I installed the spreader lights. Just so you know, me and my father (75 y/o) put the arch on in a few hours. It was pretty easy. Great job guys!

Dear Ms. Golden:

As per your request, please find enclosed photos of the installed fishing arch on our 1991 Wellcraft V20 steplift "Miss Amanda". The arch arrived on the expected delivery date and I immediately Took it home and unpacked it. Wow what a great job on constructing it. All the pieces fit nicely together, and the aluminum welds are fantastic looking. What a very professional built product.

Upon getting start on the installation, and after making some precise measurements, I decided to not use the recommended height, but lower it so the inboard rod holders are 1 inch off the canvas top. All the mounting hardware and supplied fasteners are top quality. After mounting the leg supports, we removed the arch and drilled the lower hole to pass the wiring through. All in all, the installation took about siz hours, not counting mounting the VHF & GPS antennas, and wiring the deck lamps. I would say that the hardest part of the installation was getting your arms and wrench behind the mounting surface to install the backing plates and washers. This is no fault of Atlantic Towers, just close tolerances at the Wellcraft factory, but with a little work, everything fits nicely and looks fantastic! And yes, it's very functional, and looks great. Almost every time we launch the boat someone always approaches and comments about the tower, especially when all the fishing poles and net are in there proper place on the tower. Thanks again for a fantastic looking product, and we hope to see you at the Northern Cal. Boat show in Pleasanton this coming January.

Sincerely,

Shelley,

Per your request, attached are photos of our 1999 Searay 240 Sudancer with the fishing arch we purchased earlier this year. The arch was installed during new boat prep and, to my knowledge, there were no installation problems.

The arch is extremely well built, very low maintenance and provides convenient mounting locations for spreader lights, ship-to-shore and GPS antennas. The arch we purchased had the larger center plate installed, we hope to add radar in 2003.

One recommendation to your customers, if additional items are to be added to the arch at a later date(i.e. radar or additional antenna) I would recommend pulling either additional wires or conduit with a pull wire, this will save a lot of headaches and time at a later date. One option that would have been nice, (I didn't ask - so I don't even know if was available) would be a folding option. We were forced into a trailer a year early because the boat was too tall for rack storage after the arch was installed -- ooops!

Overall, I am very impressed with the quality, price and appearance of your product. It is a real eye catcher on the water (and on the trailer), and we routinely receive complements -- awesome product!.

Please let us know if you decide to include our boat on your website. Contact us with questions.

Regards,
Craig & Judy

The installation went good we did not run in to any problems the tower fit the boat just like it came with it i get a lot of complements on how the boat looks with the tower and were did i get it so i tell them and give them your number

Thank you

I can't believe the season is over already. My boat is pulled, on the trailer and covered. Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was installing the new arch on my boat.

The arch is great! It did everything that I wanted and then some. It looks good and its functional. I really did my homework before I purchased the arch from Atlantic Tower. Shelly I talked with you over year ago and went on to check out some of the competition. But I came back and bought my arch from Atlantic.

One of the big things I liked about the Atlantic Tower's arch over the others was the mounting. Most other manufactures use bent pipe at the point of contact. Your mounting system did two things. One it made it easier to install and two it leaves more room to pass on my walk around. There isn't much to begin with so knocking a few inches off and keeping the installation close to the cabin makes a difference. The arch gives my passangers something to hold underway instead of my bimini.

Having done my homework I can tell you honestly that this is a great product. I'm extreemly pleased with it. The installation (Which had me worried) turned out to be a breeze. I don't do a lot of that type of work. Hell I don't even change my own oil in the car. But in less than a day I had the arch installed without a problem.

The tip about installing the middle bolt on the mounting was a great help. I located all the centers and was able to rotate the arch until it was in place. Then I marked it, got the arch out of the way and made the rest of the holes. One thing I learned as I went forward that may be helpful to future customers..... don't use a pilot hole for drilling through the fiberglass. I found when I used a pilot the fiberglass was more prone to shattering. Although it was covered by the mount I know it's there. I found that if I used the final drill size that it made a clean, smooth hole. The other thing was I used a chop saw with a metal blade I purchased from Home Depot. It gave me a perfect 90 degree cut and the installation looked clean and professional.

Attached are two photo's of my Seaswirl 2100. I chose to go with an extended rake on the forward support. I think it looks sportier.

My wife loves it. It's a great help in bording at the marina. We are bow in and it give us something to hold on to as we step down from the walk around.

All in all it was a pleasure dealing with Atlantic. You kept your promise on the delivery dates, the tips you gave me were helpful. Everyone was polite and professional. I would and will recommend you to friends.

Hope to see you at the boat show.

I finished installing my Air-Tower 2 on my '99 Tige 2100V, and I am delighted. The video instructions were informative and very complete. The quality of the product is outstanding. I can't wait to go for a ride.

I just want to thank you again for pulling up the half tower I purchased for my F36 Trojan. I also want to commend Dan and Doug for a job well done. Both were very professional. Once the enclosure is completed I plan to take some pictures and send them to you. We have also received many compliments from our boating friends at the marina. It is a great addition to the boat.

Here's a couple shots of the tower you made. I get some better ones
soon. It has ez2cy glass windshield now. We really like the design,
craftmansship and quality.

Dear Shelly,

Attached are photographs of the radar arch installed on my Bayliner Trophy 2052. The reference is your job #0102BA307. This is the unit I picked up from you at the boat show in Pleasanton, California in February 2003. It went on very easily and I notice from other pictures on your site that I set the mounts lower than some others have. I wanted to get it down close to the stiffest portion of the cabin structure for greatest rigidity. The radar radome is mounted on a homemade mount made from some plate stock and the remnants of the arch legs when they were cut to fit the installation.
You offered free tickets to the Pleasanton, California boat show as inducement for me to get it in gear and send the photos to you. I would like to go to the show again this next spring.
Hope you folks are having a good year and that sales are improving constantly!
Thank you and you're welcome!

Jim Arnold

I know it's been a while since I got my tower from you back in April, but everything came out alright. I have a 1998 Silverton Sedan 351 and I ordered my tower from you at the Boston Boat Show. A lot of people have looked at the tower and were amazed at the quality in which it's made for the price I paid.

Sincerely,
Norm Peasley

Attached is a photo of my boat (1994 Carver 300 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht) with its new Atlantic Tower radar arch. The marina installed it within a couple of day after arrival. It looks great -- really dresses up the boat -- and we've received a lot of compliments about it. Pretty soon we're going install a killer sound system, lights, and eventually a small radar unit as I'll need the extra night vision as I get older. We're so happy with it that next year we're going to add the aft deck hardtop.

PS: I was right about the powder paint. It was worth the extra expense because it makes the arch look like it was original equipment.

Here are some pictures of the arch on the 1995 Caliber 40 sailboat, Mirador. We installed the arch in June '00 while in Gig Harbor, Washington. We sailed Mirador from Gig Harbor to San Diego during August and September '00. We have been in Chula Vista Marina, San Diego, since Oct 1, 2000. We will be leaving for Mexico and points south in November 2001.

Your radar arch supports four 120 watt Kyocera solar panels. We are very pleased with the arch and it's ease of installation. I can offer an excellent endorsement to any potential customer.

You can read much more about the boat, us, and our solar panels at WWW.SVMIRADOR.NET

Hi,
I was going through some photos from a business trip and discovered that I still had some pictures of an Atlantic Tower installation on my 21 Seaswirl WA that I had forgotten to send you. As you can see, the installation turned out well and after using the tower for both fishing and wakeboarding last summer, I am very pleased with your product. As you can see I have a kicker motor that I use for fishing. Prior to the tower install I had to remove it for wakeboarding, tubing etc. These pictures (note the wakeboard rope on the tow bit) were taken during a week long houseboat trip on Lake Roosevelt, where that would have been very inconvenient, since we normally would fish in the morning and play with the watertoys in the afternoon every day. The tower really makes this an ideal dual purpose boat. The only improvement suggestion I have, is to change the fit to account for the taper of the cabin. The front rails had to be compressed about 1.5 inches per side to fit, which was a difficult 2 person job and I'd not want to try taking it off... which for me is not a problem since I have no need to remove it, but might be for someone else. And I almost forgot, thanks for the custom work on shortening the navigation light. It worked perfectly and now slips in the garage with a couple of inches to spare.

Another happy customer,
John M

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your donation of a "Bolt-On" Aluminum Arch. This arch will be put into place on our newest patrol vessel. This new vessel will be used as a high speed medical response boat. The boat, a 25 foot Wellcraft, was donated to us this year and we plan to have it ready for service in the 2001 boating season.

The boat will carry onboard an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), full trauma gear, medical oxygen and spinal immobilization equipment. This craft will have the capability of running in virtually any type of sea and weather that Long Island Sound can offer up. With the help of your arch we will be able to mount our radar antenna, VHF antennas, city band two-way antennas and GPS antennas on board in a high and secure location. With out your equipment our FAST AID Medical response boat would not have the necessary equipment needed to keep our crew safe and our patients safer.

Once again thank you.
Sincerely yours,

Just wanted to drop a note to express our sincere thanks for not only a quick delivery, but a product that was constructed with excellence. The quality of the radar arch you constructed for our 40 ft. Silverton was top notch. The welds were superb. The gussets were a bonus that speak volumes for the strength and integrity that was built into this product. The entire arch was square, true, and fit without having to make any major modifications. It is not often one can feel comfortable about calling a business and saying "here is my credit card number, go ahead and build one of those arches and deliver it to my marina". We are so glad we put our faith in your business. Carrying this arch out across the docks attracted a great amount of attention to say the least. Now there are a lot of envious boat owners in our marina.

Please note the attached photo of my 1984 Cruiser, "Aboat Time" with the Atlantic Tower I installed in June 2000. This afternoon Frank Kwiatkowski called and we chatted about his/my cruiser and my total satisfaction with my Atlantic Tower. I invited him to come to Dennis to see for himself why I am so pleased. I told him that my pleasure in working with your company was even superior to the very high quality of your product.

Thank you again,

Hi There!

As I promised here is a photo of my Mastercraft Prostar 190 with our Atlantic Tower installed. Sorry that it took so long but we spent nearly every hour of available free time on the water this summer. Now that we have snow flying I had the chance to develop some film. We love our tower and the way it looks on our boat. We installed the tower ourselves and beside the fact that I sweat blood and tears when I drilled the holes the installation was quite easy. Thanks

"The AIR TOWER has transformed our 1998 Malibu Sportster from a good wake board boat to a wake board machine. The solid construction and custom design made installation a simple and quick procedure. By Atlantic not welding the rear fittings, we were able to customize the Tower's height at 6' 10" from the floor. The quick release pins allow for easy removal and attachment of the tower in less than a minute. All our riders are going higher and the boat tracks like a dream. The AIR TOWER is a must for all serious riders."
