A specialty tower mount fitting, Allows for side mounting of Tower structure with the possibility of folding or quick removal when fitted with Q.R. pins. Tower Pin fits 1 1/2” Schd 40 pipe (1.90” o.d. – 1.61” i.d.) May be permanently installed in pipe with 2 part epoxy and stainless set screws, or may be welded in place.

This fitting was designed by our Company for those unusual mounting situations where a typical base will not allow folding or removal. These fittings are all carefully machined from solid billet 6061 T6 aluminum, and bright dip anodized to a marine grade standard. The mounting base is 2” in diameter and has three countersunk mounting holes for 1/4-20 oval or flat head mounting bolts. Comes with patented counter rotating circular Delrin wedges to space fitting off the fiberglass surface and allow adjustment to angled or cambered surfaces as required. The matching back up plate is 3 1/2” in diameter and is pre-drilled for the mounting bolts. Backing plates may be trimmed to fit into a smaller area if required. The pin connector which fits into 1 1/2” Schd. 40 pipe is secured to the mounting pad with a 3/8” stainless allen bolt. Nylon washers between the female mounting pad and the male pin eliminates metal to metal contact in the fitting which can cause oxide staining and noise.
