Standard Engineering

A complete, adjustable top system

Proprietary clamps and fittings allow assembly without welding and without drilling the supplied frame components. Normal-installation mounting fittings and hardware are included.

Two Original Sizes

The Mediterranean SunTop measures 82" × 102"; SunTop II measures 82" × 82".

Fully Adjustable Fit

Beam, fore-and-aft position, overall height, and foot-pad angle can be adjusted during installation.

Schedule 80 Cross Beams

Double-wall-thickness cross beams support the large top and its practical rigging requirements.

Radar Mount Included

A built-in radar mount is included, with additional antenna and accessory brackets available.

Five Sunbrella Colors

The historical SunTop range was stocked in five Sunbrella color choices.

Complete Two-Carton Shipment

The complete structure ships in one large and one small carton with normal-installation hardware.

Universal Fit Geometry

Configured around the boat during installation

The original 82-inch-wide by 102-inch-long Mediterranean SunTop fits most open boats with beams up to approximately 9 feet or more. The shorter SunTop II uses an 82-inch by 82-inch top.

  • Rear legs adjust for beam width.
  • Forward leg configurations can be selected for a custom fit.
  • Height is set by trimming the legs before fitting the bases.
  • Feet can be installed vertically or horizontally.
  • Foot-pad angle and top attitude remain adjustable.

The complete structure ships in two carefully packed cartons weighing approximately 150 pounds total.

Product FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

The SunTop was designed for owner installation and is typically no more complicated than installing rod holders or outriggers, just with more pieces. It includes instructions, backing plates, and hardware for a through-bolted installation. If your boat does not allow access for through-bolting, contact Atlantic Towers® to review alternate methods or professional installation support.
